Step 1: Make sure you have a Google Business Profile
Reviews are attached to your Google Business Profile (the listing that shows your shop on Google Search and Google Maps). If you haven't claimed your profile yet, go to google.com/business, sign in with your Google account, search for your business and follow the verification steps.
Step 2: Copy your Google review link
- On a computer: sign in with the Google account that manages your business, search Google for your business name, and in your Business Profile panel choose "Ask for reviews" (sometimes shown as "Get more reviews").
- On a phone: open the Google Maps app, go to your business, and look for "Ask for reviews" or "Get more reviews" in the business tools.
- Copy the link. It usually looks like
https://g.page/r/XXXXXXXX/review.
Google sometimes renames these buttons. If you can't find them, look for "Share review form" in your Business Profile settings.
Step 3: Turn the link into a QR code
You have two options:
- Free QR generator: paste the link into any QR code generator and download the image. This is fine for a quick printout, but the code is static: if your link ever changes, you have to reprint everything.
- Ready-made review pad (recommended): our Google review pads come with a dynamic QR code and an NFC chip. Scan the new pad, paste your review link, tap Confirm, and it's live. You can change the link anytime without reprinting.
Step 4: Place it where customers will scan it
A QR code only works if customers see it at the right moment. The best spots are the billing counter, restaurant tables, the reception desk and next to the exit. Pair it with a simple request from staff ("We'd love a Google review, just scan here") and you'll see reviews pick up within days.
